Rumors of Cee Lo joining Madonna at the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show surfaced late in January and, sure enough, the Goodie Mob rapper came out to support Madge on Sunday night (February 5) in Indianapolis. After performing “Vogue,” “Music” and “Give Me All our Luvin” with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., she was joined on stage by Cee Lo in all of his sequined glory--not surprisingly, he was wearing more sequins/sparkles than Madonna herself. The eclectic performer was completely in his element, flanked by the legendary pop star and a chorus of backup singers who made quite a spectacle of the final moments of the halftime show. Here’s what fans had to say about Cee Lo’s performance on Twitter (and don't be surprised that most of it was about the sequined robe).

@johnwardbrocato:I'll bet Cee-Lo thought he was wearing an invisibility cloak.

@djcubicle DJ Cubicle: Cee Lo and the Amazing Techbedazzled Dreamcoat.

@NikkWashington:Between these buffalo wings and Deacon Cee lo's "glittery" choir robe I've had my fill, lol! #SuperBowl

@R0bear: I dont care what anyone says, Cee-lo was a great sister Mary Clarence”

@MissMolly:Cee Lo Green wore a sequined robe. The end.

@Molly_High:Cee-lo looks like he personally knew peter pan

@KaliChan Kali:Cee-Lo was the best thing about the halftime show.

@Born_Championn: Cee Lo and this robe with the sparkles -___- lol"

@mkwilliams02:Apparently I missed 90% of the half time show, so let me correct: I enjoyed half time after Cee lo Green came into the picture.

@abelleinbk:cee-lo's musical evolution is epic. seriously.

@Shuks_ Shuks: CEE LO GREEN WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS ADORABLE?

@KHolroyd:Was it just me or did cee lo green look more like a wizard than a priest during half time...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
