After making his DJ debut at a nightclub in London just over a week ago, Kanye West announced via Twitter that he wanted to get back behind the turntables to ring in the new year--and so he did. Rap-Up nabbed photos of Ye, aka DJ Yeezy World Peace, as he spun records at the opening of 1Oak, at The Mirage in Las Vegas on Saturday night (December 31). Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie played host at the exclusive party, where Kid Cudi and Big Sean came out to support and enjoy the night.

According to Rap-Up, Ye spun a set that included hits from this year, in addition to classics from artists like Michael Jackson. After his recent DJ set at Le Baron nightclub where Ye treated the crowded to beats from his upcoming solo album and tracks from the anticipated G.O.O.D. Music albun, he took to Twitter to announce his new DJ alias.

“I kinda wanna DJ somewhere this New Years,” he wrote on twitter this week, “My New Years DJ name is gone be YEEZY WORLD PEACE! If you book me you have to put YEEZY WORLD PEACE on the E-vite. Or I ain't spinning. Ima need a stealth bomber and 2 bottled waters #YEEZYWORLDPEACE'SRIDER."

No word on whether or not the management at 1Oak delivered on the stealth bomber and the 2 bottled waters, but they did get Yeez World Peace to turn up.
