With a little more than a week left in 2011, the Weeknd comes through as promised, delivering Echoes Of Silence, the third installment of his trilogy mixtape series, which he promised to release before year’s end. Drake’s pal from Toronto (real name, Abel Tesfaye) put himself on the map with the dark, moody R&B on his first release House of Balloons, and he followed that up with Thursday in August. This is the last piece of the puzzle

One of the mixtape’s highlights is the single and first track "D.D.,” a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana” from his 1987 album Bad. Peep the tracklist for Echoes Of Silence below and download here. The Weeknd was recently featured on Drake’s Take Care album, on the single “Crew Love” and late in November he dropped the trippy video for his House of Balloons single "The Knowing."
