The Darkness rope in legendary rock producer

Recommended Posts

THE DARKNESS have enlisted the help of a legendary rock producer for the follow-up to PERMISSION TO LAND.

AC/DC producer Robert ?Mutt? Lange (the husband of Shania Twain) will work with the Lowestoft four-piece when they return to the studio, reports the BBC. The veteran has also worked with Bryan Adams, Def Leppard and Foreigner.

The Darkness have also received praise from Avril Lavigne, who claims that the band are her first choice for a collaboration.

"The Darkness are incredible," she gushed. "Their power is breathtaking and they are the one band in the world I now want to record with. I just can't stop singing their songs."

Personally i think the Darkness are poor.

I just cant get away with the lead singers screechy voice and the music is like a poor Queen tribute band. They are way too hyped up too, the music press in the U.K. think the sun shines out of their asses

And i cant think of anything worse than a darkness/avril lavigne collaboration :reallymad:

of course, this is just my personal opinion :D

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
