Justin Bieber is continuing to pursue his rap dreams by dropping more freestyles. This time the 17-year-old Canadian heartthrob spit a few verses over Notorious B.I.G.’s chilling track “Who Shot Ya?" And unlike the seemingly prepared rhymes he dropped in November, it appears that Biebs actually delivered an unwritten, on-the-spot verse.

Appearing on Las Vegas station 97.5 with host DJ Bootleg Kev this past Friday (December 26) Bieber dropped some low-key bars live on-air over Biggie’s track, stumbling a bit in the beginning but hitting his stride in the end. “Running everywhere, trying to find where I am/Going nowhere, so I’m trying again/I am so lost like paper, no pen/Yes, you have called, so yet here I am/Cold, no sweater/Bold, no letter/So much better/ My role, go getter,” rapped a subdued Bieber.

"Who Shot Ya" has become a trending topic on Twitter thanks to Bieber's freestyle, with fans and detractors debating the merits of his latest foray into rap. The tweets, from fans and critics, are unanimously in favor of Bieber putting down the microphone. A few weeks back, the upstart MC did his best to silence those who have accused him of employing a ghostwriter to pen his verses.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
