'Sitter' Star Jonah Hill Dishes On Babysitting, Crazed Fans

Everyone's babysat before. Some people are good at it; some people are spectacularly atrocious. That's where "The Sitter" comes in.

The comedy, starring Jonah Hill as the world's worst sitter, comes out today (December 9), and to celebrate, we spoke with the actor during [url="http://www.mtv.com/videos/movies/710201/jonah-hill-actually-really-likes-kids.jhtml#id=1674121"][b]MTV First: "The Sitter"[/b][/url] about all things babysitting and life-related, such as the first R-rated film that ever changed his life or the strangest thing a girl's ever done to get his attention.

First off: his relationship with kids. In "The Sitter," he's not the best or most responsible babysitter, so we wanted to know if it carried over to real life. "I actually love kids," he said. "I'm great with them in real life."

But when we visited him on set, the child actors were a little harsher. Asked if they'd want him as a babysitter, we got a blunt answer: "No. He's not the babysitting type." Still, Jonah did get along with the kids, offering this gem: "What was it that Bill Cosby said? Kids really are f---ing awesome?"

"The Sitter" is R-rated, making it not so age-appropriate for the kids in the movie (that's why there was a no cursing rule on set). But ratings have changed since Hill was growing up -- "The Goonies," a movie he cites as being important to him, would've surely broken the R barrier were it released today. Instead, the first R-rated movie to make a difference to him was "Goodfellas" -- perfect for a seven-year old, as that's how old Hill would've been when it came out.

Hill's increasing fame has brought on its own questionable rewards. While staying in a hotel one time, an adoring fan slipped a hand-drawn portrait underneath his door. "I was like, 'What a talented, nice thing to do,'" he said. "But it was weird she knew what room I was staying in and went and slipped it under the door. I was equally impressed and totally creeped out at the same time."
