'Dark Knight Rises' Won't Occupy Wall Street, 'Arkham City' Sells Huge

Batman protects the 99% from the plentiful crazies Gotham City has to offer, but he won't stand beside them [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/26/the-dark-knight-rises-wont-occupy-wall-street/"]on Wall Street[/url]. Despite rumors to the contrary, "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/454627/moviemain.jhtml"]The Dark Knight Rises[/url]" [i]won't[/i] be shooting in New York's Zuccotti Park, so you can kiss those Bruce Wayne-meets-Wall Street protestors mashup fantasies goodbye, unfortunately.

[b]"Arkham" Sells[/b]
Speaking of Batman, fans are pouring out in droves for "Arkham City," the latest video game based on the Caped Crusader's crime-fighting exploits. [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/26/batman-arkham-city-sales-nightwing-trailer/"]The game has sold 4.6 million units worldwide[/url] in just one week, a staggering number that's double what "Arkham Asylum" made during its launch week in 2009. Not too shabby at all!

[b]Shirtless Superman[/b]
Henry Cavill loves beards, hates shirts. That's the message I'm getting from all of the [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/26/henry-cavill-shirtless-man-of-steel/"]"Man of Steel" set photos[/url] that show the future Superman bare-chested and jacked out of his mind, at least. The only thing bigger than the Kryptonian hero's massive muscles is my sudden onset of serious body issues. Thanks for that, Henry!

[b]Thor Vs. Loki[/b]
An oldie but a goodie: [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/26/avengers-tom-hiddleston-thor-loki/"]Tom Hiddleston, who plays the Asgardian villain Loki[/url] in "Thor" and "The Avengers," was [i]this close[/i] to playing the God of Thunder himself in Kenneth Branagh's superhero film. I'm glad it shook out the way it did; can't really picture Hiddleston wielding Mjolnir, as awesome as the guy is. Hear his story in the video below.
