'Spider-Man' Villain Rhys Ifans Demonstrates His Lizard Voice

If you haven't heard this one creeping around the 'net by now, you're in for a treat. Last week, [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/21/amazing-spider-man-rhys-ifans-lizard-voice/"]"Anonymous" actor Rhys Ifans[/url] swung by MTV News HQ to chat about his new Roland Emmerich movie, but didn't leave without offering up some serious goods on "The Amazing Spider-Man." Ifans stars in the superhero movie as the villainous Lizard, and he offered us a terrifying taste of what his scaly creature might sound like when the movie hits in 2012.

Sadly, [url="http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/24/avengers-was-not-shot-with-an-iphone/"]it's [i]not[/i] true[/url], as the "Avengers" director of photography explains in a new interview. Move along, folks!

[b]Punishment Time[/b]
Look, I'm all for a [url="'http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/10/21/punisher-tv-series/"]"Punisher" television series[/url], but not one that's going to fundamentally alter the core of Frank Castle. It looks like that's what we might be in store for, sadly: a "Punisher" TV series is in the works at Fox, and based on the loose plot details we've heard thus far, this sounds more like "The New Adventures of Frank Castle" than a true-blue "Punisher" show.
