Angelina Jolie's Directorial Debut Gets A Trailer

There's been talk about the project, a love story set during the Bosnian war in the early '90s, for a while now, but there was little actually known besides a rough description of the plot. [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/50260/personmain.jhtml"]Brad Pitt[/url] even [url="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1670769/brad-pitt-angelina-jolie-land-of-blood-and-honey.jhtml"]refused to give his review[/url] of the film when he spoke with MTV News while promoting "Moneyball." The movie remained more or less a mystery with Jolie's name as the only recognizable feature.

That is, until the trailer hit the Web on Friday (October 21). In it, we get a look at a sweeping romance buried deep within the horrors of the Bosnian war and filled with suspicion and betrayal. The film stars Zana Marjanovic and Goran Kostic as two lovers caught in the middle of the conflict. The scale is surprisingly big, attempting to portray a full-out war, and features lots of gunfire and several large explosions. The trailer also makes clear the emotional weight tied to both the romance and its wartime backdrop.
