On Saturday October 16th, Brad Miller returns to Santos Party House with Push The Night. Building on the momentum of the June debut, tonight we once again take over New York's best kept secret with a night that brings out the most of the underground. Showcasing a sound both bold and driving, tonight also features opening sets from NY mainstays James Gill and Matty & Romi.

Just a few details for tomorrow night - Matty & Romi will be kicking things off at 10pm, followed by James Gill and then Brad Miller. If you haven't done so yet, also be sure to email info(at)djbradmiller.com before 7pm on Saturday to get on the reduced admission guestlist. Santos Party House itself is located at 96 Lafayette St just a couple blocks south of Canal St, and if you're coming by train the closest stations are the 4, 6, N, Q, J, and Z lines at the Canal St station.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
