Grab your shades, the summer has finally landed as Pukka Up prepares for the hottest summer on record with its OFFICIAL IBIZA LAUNCH PARTY at Pacha, London.

On 29th May, ten days before Pukka Up sets sail for its 6th Ibiza season, the famous house brand reveal its brand new 2010 Ibiza theme and artwork to the savvy Pacha party peeps. Previous themes have included “The Pukka Up Manifesto’, ‘Putting the Art Back into Clubbing’ and ‘A Law Unto Themselves’ - but 2010 is its most ambitious and action packed yet!

The launch party will also announce its full Ibiza line-ups, tell you the latest Ibiza gossip on its move to Space and treat you to seven hours of the sun-drenched house music making sure you’re ready for those fabulous Spanish terraces and sunset cruises. And if you’ve no plans to fly to the White Isle this year, then this will be your next best thing.

The last London event sold out 9 days in advance so buying tickets in early is advised - meanwhile 100 limited tickets have been set aside for the very eager beavers - but be quick!

International Pukka Up DJ act Thr3 Up, featuring David Dunne, Scott Giles. & Tim Fanucci sold out the last two PU Pacha events. Now they return to give you a sneak peak of some forthcoming Ibiza anthems mixed up with a large helping of Balearic favourites. Thr3Up have headlined Pukka Up in Ibiza and London countless times so know exactly how to whip up that hedonist Ibizan spirit. Room 2 will be headed up by PU favourites Definition.

What’s more (and to give you a hint), the Launch Party will also mark world premiere of Pukka Up’s latest innovation for 2010 - the Dirty Players. Kitted out in Football World Cup gear with a cheeky twist the sexy Pukka Up entertainment team will be working hard to keep you off the benches and on the pitch till the final whistle. So get ready to say goodbye the cold dark nights and say hello to Pukka Up’s most impressive and temperature raising summer season to date.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
