“SOLID! The Moodmanc dub is nice and creeper! I will be playing it tonight!”

Jevne Miller (One Thirty Recordings)

“Thanks for the promo my friend. Yet another great release from your label! With so much proper quality deepness, it's very tough to pick a favorite here but if I MUST choose, honestly track 04 'addicted' is my personal pick of the lot. I just really love stripped back tunes like that .. they work so well at gigs and allow for some proper 3-4 minute layering which is very fun to me to try to do in a mix. that track is followed right closely with your remix of soul ringer which is another KILLER soul minority production.

all in all this package is a 5/5 and will receive full support from kolour recordings my friend.”

Mike W - Kolour Recordings

“Thanks brother! into your mix and the moodymanc . will give em a whirl this weekend!”

Atnarko (Kolour/Robsoul)

“Digging the soul minority mix of soul ringer has dancefloor appeal for me and nice solid groove. Also really feeling addicted great chords always a sucker for strong progressions. Ill watch this space for Mr Stratoliner.”

Erevaan Pearce (Kolour/Loudeast)

“A really nice release, both the remixes are excellent. Thanks for sending to me....”

Louis Osbourne

“Many thanks, Oli. Nice tracks. Keep them coming,..”

(...) hello again guys, just wanted to say that i've had a few more listens to 'dance with me' and i think it's a really great tune.

Best thing i've heard so far this year.”

Dave Mothersole

“I think I played 4 of these tracks out on Friday, so I think I like this Ep, haha

Thanks as always mate”

Leigh Morgan (Urbantorque)

“Solid Ep!!”

Kolombo

“Great ep cant complain about this.

Soul Ringer :

Original is a nice percussive low end groover, good stripped down dubbed house.

Soul Minority remix is heavier in the beats, and has some nice stabby house chord action with some extra deep sounds, a lovely little track.

Moodymanc adds a more structured house beat and it has nice fluttered edits in it, a bit more stripped down and beat orientated with little groove action.

Addicted:

Is a low end deep number with nice vocal samples, good house chords, very late night sizzling, more of a sexy number, i like this one.

Dance with me:

Is an interesting percussion based track with some switched up elements added later on, synthy dirt and airy vocal samples, unusual track, changes style a lot, i quite like this.”

Mr Jones (The disclosure project / JP & Jones)

“Good stuff, as usual. The original mix of Soul Ringer is my fav, but your remix is also top notch!”

Giom (Blackcherry Recordings)

“Another great release.

Love deepness of your remix.

Keep it coming”

Djazzy (Buzzin' Fly Records)

“Wow thanks for the great great promo, really like it.

My favourite is Soul Ringer, both original mix & Moodymanc dub are really cool. Great tracks for warm-up sets!

Cheers for the tunes!!”

Bas Amro /Kenquo (8bit/irecords)

“Liking your mix, cheers”

Eddie Leader (Huddtraxx)

“Nice stuff! Like the Deep Mix.....”

Richard Earnshaw (Spiritchaser/Duffnote)

“Yes, another marvelous record on this imprint. Defo got my support!”

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
