Motown Tribute on Thanksgiving

Stumbled upon this while I was on the NFL’s website:

"This year during the Detroit vs Green Bay Thanksgiving football game, be sure to catch Vita Chambers, Forever the Sickest Kids, Hal Linton, Shontelle, Kem, and Melanie Fiona performing classic Motown songs during the 2009 United Way Thanksgiving Halftime Show: A Motown 50th Anniversary Tribute!"

Melanie Fiona is pretty tight so I'd look out for her. The others I’m not so sure about. I’ll probably watch. Looks interesting and seems fitting since it is the 50th anniversary of Motown I believe…

Edit: I checked out the site for this event. Looks like it will be pretty good. Check it out here:

It doesn't get better than Motown. I don't know if we will be home but I will try to keep an eye out for the show. If we are over at the in-laws I won't have control over the remote.

If we are at home I probably won't have control over anything.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
