New York City and followers of the indie-music scene are mourning the tragic death of drummer Gerhardt “Jerry” Fuchs, who died on Sunday from a five-story fall down an elevator shaft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

That's the kind of luck I have. Shit happens. I guess that's why women live longer than men on average. Most women would stay on the elevator for hours until safely rescued. Most men would jump and hope they get lucky. What a crappy deal.
