The Sizzling Summer Beach Party!

@Magna!

Sun, Sand, & Summer Frolics!!

20th June 2009

Magna, Sheffield Road, Temleborough, Rotherham, S60 1DX

After the huge success of tidy Magna...The Homecoming! We thought it would be wrong to just rest on our laurels and have decided to do it all again, this time with a twist!

On Saturday 20th June 2009 tidy is set to blow the roof off Magna once again with yet another massive event of epic proportions. Continuing with our Year of the Party campaign we have decided to create the ultimate clubbing experience with a scorching summer beach party. That’s right, get those sunglasses & shorts at the ready, don those silly summer shirts, and arm yourself with enough lotion to cover those pasty white legs... tidy are bringing the Great British seaside to you with this mammoth inflation busting beach party!

Not only will we be hosting our unrivalled show stopping main event in the evening, we will be putting on a sizzling summer show outdoors during the day which will be limited to 1000 loyal tidy fans. Hosted by non other than dance music legend DAVE PEARCE bringing his colossal Trance Anthems album tour exclusively to the tidy faithful. Joining Dave will be Radio 1s newest superstar KUTSKI, will be playing an exclusive Old Skool set to get us in the mood for the main event...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
