One of the most successful London brands in clubland is about to turn a year older and celebrate their 4th year with a proper Birthday Party on Saturday April 18th!

The modest yet inspirational brand has been a key player in the wave of glamorous house and unpretentious events as well as setting the standards for artwork and entertainments and of course the innovative & infectious yet upfront style of music.

Since the very beginning the brand has caused a stir amongst the industry and has caught the interest of many respected media brands including, Radio 1, Timeout, Mixmag, DJ Mag, M8 and the Guardian.

After a sun-spilling glittering 4 years hosting parties across the UK and worldwide. Promised is about putting the ‘party’ back into club land with our outrageous, glamorati party crowd. Promised offers an eclectic mix of stunning and loyal fans, superb quality music, excellent production and a vibe like no other.

We offer new talent as well as existing established talent a chance to shine and prove themselves. We aren’t afraid to book the superstars yet also nurture new talent. Our friendly crowds and atmosphere are demanding and never leave dissatisfied.

Originally starting out as an underground house party for a group of hedonists , Promised has grown exponentially into the giant that it is today. Now older and wiser you can expect Promised to continue to expand and reach an all new level through 2009.

To celebrate this very special milestone Promised will be setting sail for their debut boat party on the Thames. A diverse DJ lineup is only right for such an event and who better to headline than a mixture of residents and new blood.

In an era of after-parties Promised will also be taking it on until the early hours transforming one of the most glamorous clubs in the capital - Pacha London. And to top it all off Promised have requested the DJ services of none other than world-famous superstar DJ Hook n Sling.

So expect to be confronted by a birthday carnival with party bags, balloon drops, birthday cake, birthday treats, Promised Magicians & acrobats, Clowns, facepaints and more……..

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
