MN2S have been holding events in London for the last 14 years and it is with this experience we make our debut at London’s newest and most talked about venue, matter. Situated in Greenwich, as part of the recently developed O2, matter is a 2600 capacity multi-roomed venue designed for large scale events. Owned by Fabric, matter is committed to innovation with a passionate and eclectic music policy; it is with this philosophy that we move comfortably from our 9 year residency at The End towards this exciting new venture.

Headlining the party we have a special 3 hour set from the Dutch supremo Fedde Le Grand. Responsible for the club banger ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit!’ and summer anthem ‘The Creeps’, Fedde’s production skills have seen him achieve record music sales and a host of awards culminating with reaching #29 at this years DJ Mag Top 100. On a role Fedde’s collaboration with Ida Corr earlier this year took no prisoners, storming straight into the charts at #2. Fedde continually tours world wide and his DJ sets and music productions contain energetic house music with an acoustic touch and electro influences while maintaining his underground roots. Le Grand has already become one of the most requested DJs in the world so we are pleased to have secured his services for what will be a rare London performance.

Sharing the bill with Fedde we have DJ & producer Martin Solveig. Having scored a wealth of club hits such as his productions ‘Rocking Music’, ‘Jealousy’ & ‘Everybody’ and with Fedde’s remix of ‘C’est La Vie’; it's safe to say that Martin Solveig is a stellar producer & song writer. With a reputation for tearing up clubs all over the world we’re expecting a show stopping set from the French legend! In addition Joey Negro will be performing in matter’s Main Room and with deep house in mind he has a special Akabu set planned.

Taking over room two is MN2S’s sister label 1TRAX who have been pushing the boundaries of underground house with a host of recent releases. To date they have released tracks from big hitters like Todd Terry, Bart B More plus new comers such as Germany’s rising star Nils Nurnberg and the incredible Maya Jane Cole who’s remix of Todd terry’s “Uncle Tech” has been released to great reactions. With exclusive signings 1TRAX has programmed room 2 to offer a sound track of deep house with a techno influence. The line up on the night will be label artists Tiger Stripes, Maya Jane Coles, Hauswerks & Daley Padley. An exceptional line up in both rooms show casing the best in today’s house music.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
