Keep Bournemouth Tidy with Tidy Boys, Mark Eg, Organ Donors + More

The Opera House

Friday the 28th November

This month Tidy host their very own standalone event at Bournemouth's Opera House in what promises to be the UK's south coast hard dance event of 2008. The main stage is set to rock to the hard dance sounds of the Tidy Boys, who will be supported with a stellar cast of hard house, hard trance, and hard style acts.

First up supporting the Tidy Boys we have hard trance and hard style legend Mark EG. A man revered throughout the UK and beyond for his energetic performances. He will be joined by the local Bournemouth heroes the Organ Donors. If that wasn't enough the latest addition to the Tidy Girls and Slinky resident Kym Ayres is also on the line-up. Hard house experts Sam Townend and Deano also join cast in their Tidy DJs guise. Completing the main room acts are Frenzy residents DJ Wilma and Cheeky Scott who need no introduction to Opera House and Bournemouth clubbers.

The second room is dedicated to the sounds of hard dance classics from the last ten years with some bounce thrown in for good measure. Leading the charge are Resonate's SL-DJ and rising star Caz Wood who will be supported by DJ Discam, Carl Phoenix, and more hard house talent than you can shake a stick at.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
