When summer rolls around the party really gets started – lazy days, cool nights and of course, the soundtrack to ease you through it all. The eclectic vibe of festivals may have you dancing through the daisies but when the heated streets of the city are your fields there’s no need to compromise on that loose summer feeling.....

Supergroove are back this month making their debut @ The Whitehouse . Where better to party after a day at Get Loaded In The Park... or anywhere else for that matter!

Headlining this event will be Alex Parsons, known for his tech house productions on labels including France’s golden imprint of choice, Brique Rouge and Urban Torque

When DJs including Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Tiga, Phonique, Ralph Lawson and David Duriez are all fans, having had airplay on Radio 1 from Fergie and being included on the Only For DJs compilation in France, you know this DJ is going to have seriously good taste in music! Whilst past sets include those at The T Bar, SE1, Turnmills, Pachaand The End, you know it’s Supergroove on the 24 August where the party’s truly at.

Plus! Guest DJs, Smutt Junkies, Andy Collings, Paul TJ, Dan Davis & DJ Breakspeare will be sharing their box of feel good goodies (of the musical variety of course!) for a dancefloor where the sun always shines and no mud in sight…

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
