Over the last 6 months or so, Manchester has experienced a resurgence of its, once again, vibrant Hard Dance Scene.

Clubland legend ‘Sin:ergy’ (now in it’s eigth year) has played a major part in this, as has relative newcomer Gravity from Accrington.

On August Bank Holiday Saturday 23rd, both of these institutions join forces to present a night of total Hard Dance, Cyber and Fluffy madness, in an all out battle of the sexes, at Jabez Clegg, 2 Portsmouth Street, Manchester.

M13, which is located virtually opposite the University Of Manchester’s Student Union building.

Headlining in the ‘Boyz’ room will be the

legend that is DARK BY DESIGN, ahead of his World Tour. Joining him in battle will be Sin:ergy resident and Godfather of Hard House IAN M. STEVE-NRG and FLASH! & LORD K will also be on hand to rip up the dancefloor, as well as SONNY DARKO and BEN CLARKE.

Manchester institution LITTLE MISS NATALIE makes a welcome and long awaited return to the North-West’s Hard House circuit at this event, alongside other well known names such as MINI MINX, JO JO, GEM STONE, EM EXTREME and CHEEKY BEATS who will all send your fragile little minds skyward and beyond in their own room, aptly called... the ‘Girlz’ room.

There will also be a plethora of other entertainers in the form of Angle Grinders, Dancers and Club Freaks galore, as well as plenty of free givewawys on the night including MIX CDS from DARK BY DESIGN and IAN M (while stocks last), as well as free lollies and glow sticks for all.

Clubbers are positively encouraged to break out their cyber-gear and fluffies for this event as this event is going to be a riot in UV. Any cleve little bunnies that want to make their own costume for the event and want to include the Sin:ergy logo can download it directly from www.clubsinergy.co.uk and clicking on ‘downloads’.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
