To mark the beginning of the summer season, is the release of the annual Space Ibiza compilation from Azuli records. This year the sort after collection is released to coincide with the globally acclaimed 18-hour epic opening party on Sunday June 1st.

Space is a club of super proportions, steeped in history and legend that has created a venue that delivers an annual global pilgrimage of electronic music fans to the Balearic island to dance on its hallowed dance floor. There is no exaggeration of the love and respect clubbers have for Space Ibiza, it truly is one of the finest clubs in the world.

Space Ibiza 08 is your one and only guide to the summer season ahead. Featuring all the upfront club anthems and underground jewels you’ll be banging on your stereo driving to Salinas or even Bournemouth beach. Masterly mixed by David Piccioni, Space Ibiza 08 offers over 2 hours of upfront & carefully hand-picked electronic house music, spread over 26 tracks and 2 CDs. As tradition had it for the past few years, Space Ibiza 08 comes with an exclusive DVD for all those of you who can’t –let’s say- remember being there.

The package also comes in a neatly constructed unmixed version providing the ultimate battle weapons to any Dj out there. All the cookies in full cream for you to re-arrange at your own peril.

With a jaw-dropping tracklist including the anthems Adam K & Soha’s ‘Twilight’, Glenn Morrison’s ‘No Sudden Moves’, Cedric Gervai’s bumpy remix of De’Lacy’s classic ‘Hideaway’ to Tiger Stripe’s deep and sublime ‘Nacht’, this is a double cd packed with e sound of the summer 08. Space Ibiza 08 is the only album to embrace the ever evolving variety of house music available for our lucky generation.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
