Storm the album:

StormAlbumPackShot.jpg

It’s arrived! The sounds which have helped make Storm the single best Hard Dance night in the world for two years running are available for you to own – to power out in your room, punish your neighbours and play really friggin’ loud!

May 27th 2008 sees 3 CD’s of pure Hard House hedonism unleashed upon the world – mixed and chopped to perfection by the very DJs that have helped make Storm one of the most talked about and progressive super-clubs of recent times.

With everything from classic groovy ass shakers, to upfront hoover-laden Hard NRG – Storm: The Album delivers a collection of legendary hard house anthems from the past, present and future that no true fan of harder edged dance music should go without.

CD1 comes courtesy of Storm stalwarts Garbo & Daley. As two of today’s most coveted and talked about residents, they have been responsible for driving the Storm sound forward to the masses on a monthly basis. Collaborating to concoct a cauldron of classics that builds subtly to perfection, this definitive range of past anthems includes all time greats such as “Revolution”, “Red Snapper”, “9 Bar” and “Bad Ass”. Best described as the greatest trip you’ll ever had down memory lane, 17 of the greatest hard house classics of all time have been crammed onto this almost sexual piece of optical media for your DIY dancefloor delight.

Step up the Tidy Boys to maintain the intensifying high octane with what can only be described as a supreme standard of summertime smashers. All the uplifting anthems that will be rocking your boat this Spring and Summer are brought together on one fantastic piece of plastic. No one can rock a party like the Tidy Boys, so bring that unique Tidy experience to your living room with pulsating power-anthems such as Paul Maddox – “Mesmerised”, Lisa Lashes – “The Lashed Track” and Kym Ayres – “Take it Easy”.

Packed to peaking point full of deep kicks, dark stabs and driving basslines – CD3 is expertly mixed by the unmistakable talents that are Paul Glazby & Andy Farley. Widely regarded as the two leading names dealing in the dark side, this gruesome twosome have paired up to impart a truly mindblowing selection of hi-tempo, hi-energy tracks that cannot fail to hit the spot. This pair of production maestros feature a mindblowing medley of future anthems in including Paul’s “I’m your Nightmare 2008” and “Afraid of me”, as well as stand out Andy Farley collaborations with Base Graffitii – “Quiche or Noodles” and “Bass Vibrations”.

Get your mucky paws on it from the 27th May 2008 with availability at all good record stores, as well as Storm events, tidy.com & hmv.com

Be part of Hard House History – get this year’s must have album for those that like the hard things in life.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
