STMPD RCRDS is starting off 2024 with another brilliant release from Eleganto, “Make Me Feel”. This time the Spanish producer teams up with Myke Tyler for an emotionally affecting and truly beautiful track.

Myke Tyler, a former football player, initially reached out to Eleganto by DM’ing him on IG. The tracks powerful lyrics reflect Tyler’s battle with cancer. Clearly, this was a perfect pairing as Eleganto’s emotional synths at the drop lay the groundwork for what is just a great track that you can listen to over and over. The synths feel modern, but, combined with the vocals and bassline, really take you back to a certain 2013 frame of mind. Boxy, but melodic piano keys building toward a euphoric finish.

“The creative process was very straightforward,” Eleganto says. “We exchanged ideas via WhatsApp and instagram, he sent me the vocals and I worked on the instrumental around it. Working with Myke was very inspiring for me also. He is the nicest person ever, we need more of that great energy in the world.’’

“Make Me Feel” is out now on STMPD. Check out this live stream of his from a few months back too.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
