As we all know, niche festivals are all the rage right now. Everyone wants to go to a huge mainstream festival, but the real vibes are at smaller, more curated festivals. Enter Gem & Jam Festival, taking place February 2-4, 2024 at Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona.

The Disco Biscuits, Of the Trees, Boogie T, Lettuce, Spafford, LP Giobbi and Daily Bread will be headlining the 16th annual edition of the premier music, art, performance and gem & mineral festival in the country.

Gem & Jam Festival will also welcome back acts such as live electronic duo Break Science, two sets from boundary-pushing bass queen Maddy O’Neal (one regular and one MadHaus house set), electro-soul pioneer Michal Menert, and more.

We’re lucky enough to partner up with Maddy O’Neal for an exclusive Gem & Jam playlist featuring some of the tracks she drops in her normal set as well as some outliers in her MadHaus set as well.

“Gem and Jam is such a unique festival.” Maddy O’Neal says. “It’s just intimate enough with an electric curation of artists that it’s become one of my favorite festivals to return to year after year. I’m so pumped I get to share not one but two sets this year including my MadHaus set.”

Check out Maddy O’Neal’s exclusive Gem & Jam playlist below. Tickets for the festival are still available here.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
