Seal Tour To Benefit Children's Charity

Seal has lined up a handful of club dates that will kick off with an April 16-17 stand in Lake Tahoe, Calif. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Childhelp USA, a non-profit child abuse and neglect prevention charity.

The tour coincides with the April 20 release of a special edition of "Seal IV." The two-disc Warner Bros. set includes the album on CD, as well as a DVD featuring a 5.1 mix and high-resolution stereo mix of the set and music videos for the tracks "Love's Divine," "Get It Together" and "Waiting for You."

Originally released Sept. 9, 2003, "Seal IV" debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 658,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Currently, Seal is on tour in Europe, playing Birmingham, England, tonight (March 18). The tour will wrap March 30 in Berlin, the last of three shows in Germany. The artist also plans to return to Germany in July for four scheduled dates.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next.
