Nostalgix is back with another bass house heater for her Monstercat debut, “WAR.” This time the Iranian-Canadian producer/DJ/rapper teams up with Rico Nasty for a certified dance floor banger that features Nostaligix’s trademark production and empowering vocals. Featuring a catchy topline and an undeniable groove and rhythm, “WAR” is sure to be on repeat on your device. Whether getting pumped up for the gym or heading out on a long drive, “WAR” is a catchy as hell tune.

“To me, WAR is the evolution of Nostalgix. It’s the evolution of me as an artist and the evolution of my sound. With WAR, I wanted to make a record that embodied power and drive. I wanted to make a record that you could blast and feel like you can take over the world.” Nostalgix says.

“Like nothing can stop you. When I was producing WAR, I wanted to bring a lot of elements of drama and energy to really bring power to the record. I got into the studio with the talented Rico Nasty and we went in on vocals for the record. I absolutely love Rico, I think what she’s doing is so sick. She’s an artist that is so uniquely herself, she brings such a badass energy with all of her music and her performances.”

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
