Sherm Teams Up With PODS For Thumping Tech House Single “Madonna” [Hood Politics]

Chicago based DJ, A&R, podcaster, and entrepreneur Sherm is having his biggest year to date – fresh off electrifying performances at North Coast Festival’s Vega Stage and a massive Lollapalooza afterparty alongside ACRAZE.

Now, he’s back with another breakthrough act from the Windy City, who go by the name of PODS, for a thumping tech house single “Madonna” signed to one of our favorite labels, Hood Politics. “Madonna” is a track that takes you on a trip to the underground, delivering a hypnotic bass groove, crisp drum beats and somewhat futuristic synth melodies – coming together flawlessly for a result that makes you want to move your body.

In addition to the single, Sherm has revealed that he is taking the reins as the moderator for the official ADE Panel titled “The Tech/House Boom in the US: What’s In It for You?“ – a round table chat featuring industry heavyweights like DJ Susan (CEO of Hood Politics), Kaysin (Repopulate Mars A&R), & Carissa Szlosek (Prodigy Artists). He’ll also be performing at the joint Hood Politics & Bring The Kingdom showcase on October 21.
