If there’s two artists that always know how to get the party started, it’s Big Gigantic and AHEE. Both have accomplished incredible milestones in each of their careers, making it all the more special that they’re linking up for a massive new, funk and bass fueled single that we are thrilled to premiere – “Oh Dang!”.

In classic BG fashion, the track kicks off with a groovy beat, syncopated guitar riffs, and anthemic sax melodies, all building into an electrifying drop that packs a thunderous punch. Guitar solos, bass wubs, and a punchy beat keeps this as a song you just want to keep coming back to – one of our favorites of the year!

I remember winning the 2nd place remix for the Big Gigantic remix contest back in 2016, then I had the good fortune of meeting Dom & Jeremy while I was touring with Lucent Dossier. Over the years we kept in touch, I kept making music, playing shows, and eventually joining them on tour. To think back on everything that’s happened that led to this moment – Oh Dang! with Big Gigantic is such a full circle moment for me!AHEE

Outside of music, Big Gigantic remain busy with their A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation, which supports non-profits for at-risk youth, music education, and more. Thus far, they have raised $1 million-plus for charity and show no signs of slowing down.

Kick your weekend off right and check out “Oh Dang!” below!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
