IMANU continues to make his mark on the electronic scene with his genre-bending capabilities and willingness to push the sonic boundaries with every single song he releases.

He just revealed his latest single “Aching (On A High)” via Zeds Dead’s esteemed imprint, Deadbeats. True to what we’ve come to expect, his creativity yet again impresses us with a more minimalist house approach that’s perfectly executed with a glimmering topline vocal. Everything comes together into a thumping, lo-fi house esque drop that can’t help but make you want to move to it.

“With Aching (On A High), I wanted to make a looming dark house track, something you could play at home or in a dark warehouse. Emotional vocals with dark reeses and pads has always been something I’ve loved doing, and I’m happy to continue this trend on this new single.”IMANU

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
