Ringo Starr - Gone Are The Days

Ringo Starr recruited Eurythmics producer Dave Stewart for his fourteenth album, "Liverpool 8", which is somewhat autobiographical. The album includes some ballads and some rock and blues numbers, with Ringo, of course, at the center stage. I particularly liked the cut "Gone Are The Days", which is somewhat experimental pop ... just the thing you might have expected from Ringo if he had contributed one of his own songs to The Beatles' "Revolver."

Not my favorite cut on the album, but its more interesting when you realize who is singing the story...
