Goodgreef @ Syndicate, Bristol, Saturday January 26th

Saturday January 26th in Bristol is set to be a foundation-shaking session as Goodgreef detonate at the awesome Syndicate club.

With Eddie Halliwell starring it’s an event which combines one of the world’s biggest DJs and one of the UK’s best clubs to create pure and simple dynamite. Eddie is one of the most in demand and revered spinners in existence, commanding crowds all over the globe, and his unique brand of multi-deck wizardry always guarantees dance-floor mayhem unlike anything else known. He quite simply has to be seen and heard to be believed, and Sat Jan 26th represents the perfect opportunity for the south west to catch the man in action at the region’s best venue.

Adding to this smasher of a party is Irish star Greg Downey, who in the space of two heady years has become one of the scene’s brightest stars, his productions as illustrious as his DJ sets, and a man who has starred alongside Eddie in the past to great effect. 2008 is set to be Greg’s biggest year to date and he one you simply have to see in action.

Another young star is Jordan Suckley, whose sets never fail to disappoint covering a diverse range of techno, tech-trance and hard trance. His energetic presence behind the decks is renowned for getting the crowds going using 3 decks, scratching, cutting and looping the tracks along with using other efx, Jordan sets to out keep it fresh and blow the dance floor apart!

Lastly Joel D will be one hand to crank this GG Bristol session up, and who better to do so than the Syndicate’s own resident!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
