Echo Show 5 smart screen

SAVE £40: The Echo Show 5 (second generation) is on sale for £34.99 this Black Friday, saving you 53% on list price.

There’s a very unique feeling waiting for those Black Friday deals to drop. Waiting to see if the device you always wanted will be marked down to a new low price, or combing Amazon to find those products you never knew you needed in the first place.

That’s exactly what you get with the Echo Show 5 (2nd generation). Either you know it and want one, or you’re about to find out what it is and will soon want one. It is, after all, an essential addition to any modern smart home. Either way, you can get your hands on it with the impressively low Black Friday price of £34.99 — that’s a saving of 53%.

The Echo Show 5 (2nd generation) is an Alexa-enabled smart display that allows you to make video calls, watch your favourite streaming platforms, or see your photos and video collection. All you need to do is ask Alexa.

More than just a screen, it connects with other devices and controls your smart home — allowing you to sync and control other smart devices with voice commands — and does everyday Alexa tasks, like setting alarms, telling you the weather, or collating shopping lists.

The Black Friday price runs until Nov. 29, which means it will still be there after the chaotic Black Friday rush — but don’t leave it until the last minute and miss out.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
