UPDATE: Nov. 16, 2022, 4:00 p.m. EST This story has been updated to reflect current TV deals ahead of Black Friday at Amazon.

  • BEST 55-INCH TV DEAL: The Amazon 55-inch 4K Fire TV is a great first 4K TV, especially when under $300 — $299.99 $519.99 (save $220)

  • BEST 65-INCH TV DEAL: The Samsung 65-inch S95B OLED TV has one of the biggest price slashes on a TV that Amazon is hosting this season — $1,797.99 $2,997.99 (save $1,200)

  • BEST 75-INCH TV DEAL: The Samsung 75-inch The Frame QLED TV will be the centerpiece of the room whether it's on or not, now at record-low pricing — $1,997.99 $2,997.99 (save $1,000)

Amazon isn't exactly known for its Black Friday TV deals in the way that big box stores like Best Buy and Walmart are. But if you insist on making your TV upgrade through Amazon, there are still some gems scattered across the site ahead of Black Friday despite Amazon's fluctuating stock and list prices.

Mainly, you can count on Amazon to price match on a select few flagship TVs, like every size of Samsung's The Frame, as well as Amazon's own lines of Fire TVs (though Best Buy has beat Amazon at its own Fire TV game in recent weeks). Here are the best deals on TVs that Amazon is offering as of Nov. 16:

Please note: All newly added deals have been marked with a ✨. Anything with a strikeout was either sold out or no longer available at the sale price as of this writing, but check back often — we're updating this page constantly.

Why we like it

Opting for the 55-inch version of Amazon's 4-Series Fire TVs over the 55-inch Omni Fire TVs saves you $150 — but we wouldn't call it cutting corners. Compared to the ultra cheap Fire TVs offered by brands like Insignia and TCL, Amazon's own 4-Series supports HDR and HDMI 2.1 and achieves decent brightness despite lacking any dedicated dimming zones.

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
