Tweets! You want them and them and we've got them.

That's right, once again we are back collecting the absolute best and funniest tweets from the past week. This week was chock full of good posts, but we somehow narrowed it down to a few of our favorites. So here they are, the best tweets of the week.

1. OK, OK, fine this tweet was from last week, but I was off last week and this tweet is too funny not to include it.

2. This is the kind of capitalism that has been kicked out of the club and ended up at place nobody would go to in their right state of mind.

3. I must admit, I would miss food but I am intrigued by the idea of this unnamed modality.

4. An obligatory dril tweet.

5. Oh, for real? You've experienced trauma? Well, I guess then I am in the wrong here.

6. The escalation here is wonderfully funny.

7. This is so true of people who go goblin mode. Except for me. When I go goblin mode it is actually pretty sick and very cool. People love it.

8. Sure, the world is awful, but there is nothing in existence so beautiful as this.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
