BEST DEAL ON AUDIBLE: Audible members get unlimited access to thousands of select Audible Originals, podcasts, and audiobooks. Until Sept. 4, a three-month subscription to Audible is available for just £0.99.

Honestly, we were not fully prepared for Amazon to drop deals on its subscription services, but here we are. You normally only get deals on things like Amazon Music Unlimited and Audible around major shopping events like Prime Day or Black Friday, but Amazon must be feeling generous because you can now get a three-month subscription to Audible for just £0.99.

This deal is live until Sept. 4, and includes a credit for any audiobook in the catalogue, plus access to thousands of select Audible Originals, podcasts, and audiobooks. That's a lot of entertainment for under £1.

It's worth noting that this offer is only available to new customers. You will be charged £0.99 in the first month, and once the promotional period is over, your Audible membership will automatically renew at £7.99 per month until cancelled. You can do this at anytime though, so there's absolutely no pressure to pay anything more than the deal price.

Secure the best deal on Audible.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
