SAVE $260: Pick up the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 laptop for conquering schoolwork, streaming, and everything in between. This configuration is usually $959.99, but it's on sale for just $699.99 at Amazon as of August 4 — that's 27% in savings.

Heading back to campus soon? It may be a good time to replace your rickety old laptop with something a bit more capable. After all, it'll be used for a whole lot more than just schoolwork.

Enter the HP Envy x360 — one of our top picks for a 2-in-1 laptop. Usually $959.99, it's on sale for just $699.99 at Amazon as of August 4 — that's $260 in savings. A 2-in-1 laptop gives you the best of both (laptop and tablet) worlds at your fingertips, making it a flexible and convenient choice for students.

We particularly love the HP Envy x360 for its gorgeous, 15.6-inch, multi-touch display with a 1980 x 1080 resolution. The color and clarity will definitely wow you — especially considering the price range. This particular configuration features an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with Radeon graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, so you'll have plenty of power and storage for your daily tasks and beyond.

You'll get over 11 hours of battery life on a single charge, plus the ability to go from zero to 50 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes (thanks to HP Fast Charge). If you forget to bring your charger to class, you should still be solid until you head back to your dorm.

It's not the lightest laptop on the market, but it makes up for it in sheer flexibility. Beyond its laptop and tablet configurations, it also includes a bevy of ports (including one USB-C, two USB-As, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack).

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
