video of Lizzo on Saturday Night Live trivia show skit

Saturday Night Live hosts try their best to remain in character, but sometimes they crack — and when they do, it's a delight to behold. Last night, host and musical guest Lizzo couldn't help but giggle while playing the role of a trivia show contestant.

She accuses the host of thinking he's "the mayor of Game Town," which sounds like a Flavor Town-adjacent suburb. Around four minutes into the game, Lizzo raises her hand and breaks as she asks if she can be the next mayor. It's not necessarily her fault — Thompson lets a few laughs escape him, as well.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
