Save $303: The release of a new LG TV means even more deals on their popular 2021 models. As of April 14, the newest example is the LG OLED A1 55-inch 4K TV now at its best price ever of $996.99 after a 23% price cut.

The release of the brand new LG C2 OLED TV series already brought us a big discount on the popular 2021 LG C1 model. But if you're in the market for something that's cheaper, there's yet another great offer on a more affordable OLED TV.

Enjoy incredible value when it comes to high-quality images thanks to the LG A1 OLED 55-inch 4K TV on sale for only $996.99 at Amazon. With the $303 discount, this marks the lowest price ever on this model that was released just in 2021. And while it's not as advanced as the discounted LG C1, the A1 still offers plenty of entertainment power.

With the LG A1 TV, you'll experience amazing pictures thanks to over 8 million pixels that independently turn off and on with the OLED display. This not only allows for the accurate display of over a billion colors but also deep blacks for exceptional contrast. It also supports Cinema HDR along with Dolby Vision IQ ambient settings and Dolby Atmos surround sound for a truly at-home cinematic experience.

You also get the updated Magic Remote for a smoother and faster way to find your favorite content. Its fast response times and low input lag makes it great for many gamers. Unfortunately, it lacks the new HDMI 2.1 inputs and only supports up to a 60Hz refresh rate. This means if you already bought a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, you're better off upgrading to the LG C1 to future-proof your new console.

But there's no doubt that when it comes to outstanding picture quality, the LG A1 offers the best value at its low $996.99 price.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
