Dog with head on pillow, under blanket

TL;DR: The BuddyRest Soothe™ Anti-Anxiety Weighted Dog Blanket is on sale as of Feb. 23 for 24-25% off in all sizes — $44.99 for the medium, $67.99 for the large, and $89.99 for the extra-large.

You’ve heard of weighted blankets for humans, which claim to help insomnia, anxiety, and the like (but very well may just be the placebo effect in full-swing). What if you extended that cozy luxury to your furry friend? Science aside, blankets with added weight just feel good — and why wouldn’t you want to share the love with your dog?

Right now, the BuddyRest Soothe Weighted Dog Blanket is on sale for just $44.99, down from $59. It offers soothing pressure in a water-resistant smart suede shell, and comes in three sizes to suit your four-legged child.

Whether you have an anxious puppy or an older pooch who can’t seem to get cozy, the soft pressure of this weighted blanket may offer them some calming comfort. Reviewers also claim it makes a great travel companion to help your dog feel relaxed in the car. If your dog is already a fan of blankets and cozy sleeping quarters, it'll likely be a hit.

It’s made with a water-resistant suede. So, it's designed to offer protections from accidents, spills, and other pet messes. If it does need a cleanup, however, you can also pop it in the washing machine for easy cleaning.

It comes in medium (3 pounds), large (5 pounds), and extra-large (8 pounds) sizes and two different color varieties. The medium, which is best for small breeds like Boston terriers, is on sale for just $44.99 (regularly $59). The large is ideal for mid-sized dogs like labs and boxers and is on sale for $67.99 (regularly $89), while the extra-large is for the biggest of babies, like German shepherds and pit bulls, and is discounted to $89.99 (regularly $119).

Prices subject to change.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
