Scottish sensation KC Lights has taken the dance music world by storm for years now. He has an amazing ability to create not only club bangers, but also emotive house tracks that can make you close your eyes and get simply lost in the beauty of his music.

Along with delivering unparalleled originals, he’s also no stranger to remix duty, having already provided excellent remixes for Sofi Tukker, LANY, Sigma, and now Shallou.

On the heels of his brilliant ‘The Long Way Home‘ EP, Los Angeles-based artist Shallou is breathing new life into the project with an expansive remix EP (out March 25). First up is this a stunning remix from KC Lights that transforms “Corners” into a blissed out, club-ready offering that’s immediately made waves in Shallou’s DJ sets. KC Lights is brilliant here, sampling the vocal and effortlessly weaving it into a euphoric house track that truly feels timeless.

Here’s what Shallou had to say about the remix & his upcoming remix EP:

“When searching for remixes for this EP, I really wanted to re-contextualize these songs for a club atmosphere but still keep the original charm. I was super into KC Lights’ song ‘Girl,’ and thought he could take corners to a similar space. I love what he did with it and am already getting a great reaction from playing it in DJ sets.”

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
