TL;DR: A lifetime subscription to Speakly is on sale for £51.25, saving you 82% on list price.

Always wished you were multilingual? Now’s your chance to finally turn that dream into a reality. With this doorbuster deal on Speakly, you’ll get a lifetime of learning eight different languages for only £51.25.

For a few days only, you can slash an 82% off the Speakly app subscription. We've featured Speakly before, but this deal blows the previous one out of the water.

Unlike the majority of language learning apps, Speakly’s formula combines science and computational algorithms to teach you the 4,000 most statistically-relevant words in your language of choice in order of their importance. You’ll cover a wide range of useful real-life topics, including shopping, directions, socialising, food and drink, and more — you know, practical things you'd actually discuss when you're out and about in a foreign country.

The subscription gives you access to all the language lessons for Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Finnish, and Estonian. You can pick and choose whichever you want to learn — or learn them all, one by one. With lifetime access, there are no deadlines or rules. So, you can start with Spanish, then make your way to Estonian in a few years.

You’ll write, speak, and listen as you make your way through hundreds of hours of study. And you can pick up wherever you left off on any device at any time, as your progress will be synced across your devices.

See for yourself why Speakly has earned 4.8 out of 5 stars on the App Store and 4.2 on Google Play. Slash the £292 price tag down to just £51.25. This deal is only available for a few days, so sign up while the sale lasts.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
