TL;DR: As of Jan. 9, you can get the Just Simple Power Bank for $99.99 instead of $129 — that's savings of 22%.

Why spend the new year running on E? If you could make a list of all the most annoying things in your life, I bet you most of them could actually be solved. If running out of battery keeps you glued to bartenders asking if they can plug in your phone instead of asking for another refill, it may be time to rethink your charging situation.

With the Just Simple Power Bank, you can wirelessly charge up to five devices at the same time, so you don't need to alternate your devices. This Indiegogo-funded power bank also works as a dock for your desk to eliminate clutter and cut down on the need for excess wires. You can simply place your Apple Watch and iPhone on top of the power bank to charge wirelessly through Qi technology, or you can slip it in your backpack and connect directly to USB-powered devices on the go.

The best part of this power bank is that it actually charges up to four times faster than your regular brick and wall outlet charger. Even when you load it up with multiple devices plugged in at once, it'll still charge fast. Since the power bank has an easy-to-read digital display, you'll always know when you need to recharge the bank itself and there will never be any question as to how much battery remains. With suction cups at the base of the bank, the power bank will stay securely onto your desk or surface without causing any damage on sensitive materials like wood or glass.

Normally the Just Simple Power Bank retails for $129, but for a limited time, you can save 22% and snag it for just $99.99.

Prices subject to change.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
