TL;DR: The 3-in-1 Charging Cable is just $19.99 at the Mashable Shop with code GREEN20 as of Dec. 15.

It’s tempting to buy all the trinkets you find in the checkout lane at the store and stuff them in your family members’ stockings. But you know darn well most of it will end up collecting dust in a junk drawer. If you’re looking for a stocking stuffer that will actually get some use, check out this 3-in-1 Charging Cable.

It’s usually $34, but holiday savings have dropped the price by over 40%, making it just $19.99 for a limited time.

Like the name suggests, this charging cable can power up to three different devices at once: an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods case. With two Lightning outputs and a magnetic Apple Watch charging pad, you can also give a friend’s iPhone a power boost while yours gets some juice. You won’t have to worry about overdoing it, as the cable is certified by CE/ROSH with over-current, overheat, and short-circuit protection.

The cable is nearly four feet in length, giving you a decent amount of charging flexibility when you’re plugged into an outlet. It’s also an excellent addition to any car, giving two iPhone users the ability to recharge on the go. If you know someone who takes a lot of road trips, this cable could be a game-changer. No more fighting over the single USB port. Even better, it saves frequent travelers from packing three separate charging cables for trips — and gives them two fewer things to remember to pack.

Convenient, efficient, and a great stocking stuffer idea for any Apple user, this 3-in-1 charging cable is on sale for just $19.99 for a limited time. Just be sure to enter the coupon code GREEN20 at checkout to secure the deal.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
