Bjork Wants YOU To Make Her New Video

Recommended Posts

bjork.jpgBjork is calling on fans to make the video for her new song ‘Innocence.’

Taken from her eagerly anticipated new album ‘Volta’, a post on Bjork’s official website is calling upon the help of any budding video makers.

It reads: "The idea is to make the video. The video to 'Innocence', a song of yet to be released Volta record. Who is to make the video? Another idea is born: It is to be you, my dear!"

Those interested are directed to the contest page where you can get all the necessary details, including the song lyrics and photographs.

All entries are to be submitted by early July, when the best ones will be judged for inclusion.

I'm reaching my saturation point for artists going for the whole edgy "I'm so hip I'll let my fans make my next video" gig.

It's tired to me. It looks like artists just trying to get professional level results without spending any money. I hope Christopher Moltisanti punches her square in the face like she was Lauren Bacall.

Bjork has done this in the past. She released an album with fan remixes and gave the money to charity. She is known for giving fans a chance for years now. She has nothing to prove

How else are people gonna get the chance? I think its noble of artists to give filmmakers a shot

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
