Manliest Songs of the 80's

Recommended Posts

I thought I had better post these before tpj1965 and Sir Droopy posted al of the killer songs.

Each of these is cool in their own way, although not really the manliest. The music itself is take it or leave it, but the vocal performances and images were memorable.

Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy

Men Without Hats - Pop Goes The World

The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be

Tears for Fears - Shout

Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight

Hey Shawn great posts, I'm trying to slow up a bit by jumping to different forums. ;)

Still love "she drives me crazy" just a fun song, something you sing along with while your home alone. :o

Not my fav, Men W/out hats song but cool.

These two Scottish brother impressed me with the kind of Buddy Holly looks and the throwback sound, and I love how they incorparated the clips in the video. B)

I actually posted Shout but it is cool to see and hear.

I was waiting for someone to hit me with this one after I posted "Sussudio" love this song.:thumbsup:

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
