TL;DR: Enjoy your favorite tunes with the Urbanears Luma True Wireless In-Ear Headphones, on sale for 30% off. Pick up a pair for just $69.95 as of Sept. 9.

Looking for a pair of stylish wireless earbuds to accompany you on your runs, commutes, and workouts? There’s no need to dish out hundreds of dollars on AirPods to enjoy your music and podcasts on the move. In fact, the Urbanears Luma True Wireless Headphones are a dead ringer for the AirPods, but cost only a fraction of the price.

The Urbanears Luma Earbuds definitely draw inspiration from Apple’s best-selling earbuds in terms of aesthetics. Although, with multiple color varieties to choose from — like pastel ultraviolet and teal — they may actually be superior in that department.

Of course, looks aren't everything. The Luma buds also have a lot to offer in terms of substance. They’re equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 for a seamless, stable, and clear wireless connection. Controls are touch-sensitive on the outside of each earbud, so it’s easy to control your music playback and answer calls in a snap. And thanks to the noise-filtering dual microphones built-in on each earbud, you can take crisp calls in noisy environments with one or both earbuds. Bass-heavy music really pops on these babies and wear-detect sensors ensure you’ll never miss a drop since they auto-pause your music the moment you remove an earbud.

Splash-resistant, with IPX4 protection, keeps the Lumas safe in rain or excessively sweaty conditions. So, they’re a perfect companion for workouts. They have five hours of listening per charge and four on-the-go charges built into the sleek charging case they come with. That means you'll get up to 25 hours of total on-the-go playtime before you need to find an outlet, which happens to be about the same battery life as the AirPods Pro themselves.

Upgrade your listening with some stylishly superior earbuds from Urbanears, on sale for just $69.95 (regularly $99) for a limited time. They come in charcoal black, dusty white, teal green, ultraviolet, and true maroon.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
