Now I know that someone is going to say the song came out in '79 so it's should go in the 70's forum, here is my argument to that. Growing up here in NY I can tell you this song got a lot of air play in '80 if not the song itself samples, remixes and revamps. This is a definitive 80's song.

Songs like that are timeless and span generations. They still play that in the clubs here and it's like hearing it for the first time over and over again. No one makes songs like that no more. Everyone has gotten lazy and just sampled too much. No creativity.
