The Modern Web Development and MySQL Programming Bundle is on sale.

TL;DR: The Modern Web Development and MySQL Programming Bundle is on sale for £14.48 as of July 8, saving you 98% on list price.

If someone living in the '90s time-traveled to 2021, there’s a lot they’d be confused about. Besides the latest fashion, music, and slang, one of the most dramatically different things is, of course, the internet.

See, back in the day, learning to build a website meant knowing the basics of HTML and CSS. Anyone with a Myspace account could play around with these languages. They’re still used today, but websites and apps require a whole lot more in the modern world — like PHP, MySQL, GitHub, Heroku, Blazor, .NET, database management, and on it goes. If you’re looking to update your own arsenal, look no further than this Modern Web Development and MySQL Programming Bundle.

With 47 hours of training on all the most up-to-date tools for crafting a modern web experience, you’ll be ready to kickstart a career in IT — or just escape from '90s internet. It packs five courses from Trevoir Williams, a software engineer by trade. He’s spent over a decade teaching web, software, and database development courses, and students seem to love his teaching style, rating him with 4.5 out of 5 stars as an instructor.

You’ll get an in-depth understanding of PHP programming and MySQL, which will help you on your journey to creating dynamic web pages. You’ll dive into building interactive web user interfaces using C# and .NET with Blazor, a free and open-source web framework. And you’ll even get fundamental SQL server training, which will help you understand basic database design. There’s a lot of information packed in these courses, but fortunately, you can work completely at your own pace. Plus, you’ll get lifetime access, so you can return to the lessons whenever you want.

If you signed up for each class individually, it would set you back £725, but for a limited time, you can virtually enroll in all five for only £14.48.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
