A slideboard creates instability and makes your muscles work harder.

TL;DR: Explore new workout options and add the Brrrn Board to your home gym. As of July 7, bring one home for only $269.99 when you use the code SLIDE30, a savings of 10%.

If you’ve exhausted all of the body-weight home workout options you can think of and refuse to go back to a sweaty gym full of people, perhaps it’s time you get a little creative. Peloton bikes aren’t the only piece of equipment that can inject some fun and excitement into your exercise routine. Check out the Brrrn Board, an adjustable slide board that fits under your couch when not in use.

The Brrrn Board fits in your living room, and its ultra-slick surface creates instability and challenges your body to master the slide. It comes with a pair of slide booties and mittens, which you wear to help you glide across the board. It may take you a bit to get the hang of it, but the Brrrn on-demand introduction classes should help you out.

It might sound a bit silly, but the Brrrn Board definitely sets the scene for an intense workout. The on-demand workout selection features eight different categories, from slide, cardio, and sculpt to bootcamp, "brrreath", and "brrrnouts". As you slide and glide across the board, you’ll improve mobility, endurance, and balance.

The Brrrn Board is also made from recyclable materials.

Snag one for yourself and discover a fun new way to work out at home for just $269.99 with the code SLIDE30. Please note that this product is designed for people who are 5'6" and taller.

Another question you might be asking about a slide board is how much exercise can you get on them every day. The answer to this is actually more than most people realize, especially if you do not work out regularly. The average person sets on a slide board about three times per week, which are still great for keeping your weight down and being able to stay active, but it is also still a lot of exercise. If you work out more than this amount each day, you may want to look into purchasing a more traditional piece of equipment to provide you with your exercise needs.

Another question you may be asking yourself about a slide board is whether or not it will get you hurt. This is a valid concern, because you want to make sure that you are always safe while you are exercising. Slide board slides come with all kinds of different safety options built right in so that you can be protected while you are sliding, but you should still use your own judgment when deciding whether or not a slide board is the best investment for you. If you do not have a problem with falling off and hurting yourself, then this may be an easy choice for you, but if you tend to slide when you don't know what you are doing, then it might not be the best investment for you. Take some time to decide what your personal needs are before you buy a slide board, and then find something that works for you!

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
