Released on Flux Pavilion-owned Circus Records, “What About Love,” follows up on the fast growing debut 2021 release, “Let Go,”(out on Excision’s Subsidia record label), from the brand new bass music project, Doctor Neiman. ‘What About Love’ starts with singer-songwriter Micah Martin’s captivating and emo-leaning verses. Vocal moments quickly get heated as they are platformed by a gritty, fast-paced, four-chord punk progression – then instantly ricochet into an all-consuming well-mixed build up transition that takes control of the moment. The track then reveals all, at the edge of the build up, explosively cascading into a searing, rail-riding drop, with elated ferocity and a rhythmic melody being the centerpiece of this moment. Enjoy this absolute stunning and hard hitting banger!

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
